Come join us for the Heidrun Meadery CASC tasting and experience mead and bubbles like you never have before. Heidrun produces sparkling mead using the traditional French Méthode Champenoise. Each sparkling mead is made from a single varietal honey that expresses itself beautifully in the glass. The aromatic and flavor profiles are different from other sparkling beverages you have tried before. As usual we'll be showcasing three sparkling wines, including the Bo'Wildflower sparkling mead, a new and limited release from 2016 made from honey harvest from hives in Bolinas.

Tim Telli of Betwixt Wines will be in the house pouring some delicious small lot Pinot Noir and Chardonnay made right here in San Francisco. Tim believes in minimal intervention in the wine making process, his wines go through native fermentation, aren't racked till right before bottling, and are always unfined and unfiltered.
Highlawn Wine Company is Philip Cuadra and the wines are made right here in our beautiful city of San Francisco. I met Philip pulling weeds with Elly and the Neighborhood Vineyards crew, we got talking and I found out he made wine and he found out I have a wine bar and now we all get to taste through his newest releases at our weekly California AVA Social Club.
